ROYAL TOUR OF COPENHAGEN & DRAGØR
With Drop-Off at the Cruise Terminal!
DESCRIPTION
Come with us for a trip around Copenhagen, where we will see Castles and Palaces and hear about the Kings who built them, and the lovely fishing village of Dragør.

We will pass the Rosenborg Castle, built in Dutch Renaissance style by King Christian IV, the Amalienborg Palace, where our Queen Margrethe II lives, and Christiansborg Palace, built in 1928, where Queen Margrethe has her Throne Room. It’s also where Folketing, the Danish Parliament, meets.

We will drive through Christianshavn, built by King Christian IV, and see Børsen and Holmens Church, which were also built by Christian IV, the Builder King.

We will enter the Royal District, Copenhagen K or Kongelig København, in Danish, drive through Kongens Nytorv and see Nyhavn, the old harbour area, while all the time being given a commentary in English.

The tour wouldn’t be complete without passing the National Gallery and the Gefion Fountain and a photo-stop at the Little Mermaid.

In Dragør you can visit the Dragør Fort, which was built between 1910 and 1915 to defend Copenhagen.

Do go down to Dragør Harbour, where you will see some beautiful old fishermen’s houses, which date back to the 1700s.
